Rockford, IL (November 7, 2019) – According to sources, there was a structure fire that took place at about 10:00 p.m. on Sunday night. The incident occurred near the 700 block of Island Avenue. The fire was said to have fully engulfed the structure in Rockford.

Sources indicate that at least one individual sustained burn injuries and was transported to the emergency room for treatment. The severity of the burn injuries has not been made public and the identity of the victim is unknown at this time.

Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
