Rockford, IL (December 7, 2019) – An accident in Boone County involving a semi and a car resulted in injuries at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, near Wheeler Drive and U.S. 20.
The severity of the injuries victims sustained has not been reported but it is not believed that any are life-threatening.
The Rockford Police Department and Boone County Police were on the scene to conduct an investigation to determine what caused the accident.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time as authorities continue to investigate.
