Rockford, IL (January 19, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of North Mulford Road and Garrett Lane.

The severity of the injuries the pedestrian suffered has not been released.

The Rockford Police Department and the Rockford Fire and Rescue were on the scene and the public to steer clear of the scene while they conducted their investigation.

The RPD confirmed the investigation remains open.
