Rockford, IL (April 21, 2020) – An accident that occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon has been confirmed to have injuries. The incident took place at the intersection of Sandy Hollow Road and 20th Street. It was reported that there were multiple injured parties as a result of the crash. The severity of all of the injuries has not been reported.
There are reports of an SUV and a sedan colliding under a traffic signal. The Rockford Police Department was on the scene and asked the public to avoid the area. The cause of the accident is currently unknown. The RPD continues to investigate
