Rockford, IL (March 4, 2020) – The Rockford Police Department was on the scene of an accident that occurred near the Greater Rockford Auto Auction. The accident resulted in injuries but the severity of the injuries has not been released.

The roads on Wednesday morning were slippery which could have been a factor, but the cause of the accident has not been confirmed. A silver-colored sedan and a black sedan were involved in the accident as well as a pickup truck they forced off the road.

The RPD is still investigating the cause of the crash at this time.
