According to reports a 30-year-old woman and the 33-year-old male victim were walking north on the west side of 11 Street. The male victim was attempting to cross the street when a pickup truck struck him. An ambulance was on the scene to transport the victim to the hospital where he sadly died from his injuries.
The driver of the pick-up truck was a 50-year-old man who stayed on the scene and was cooperating with the police. The authorities are not releasing the name of the victim at this time. The authorities continue to investigate the fatal collision.
