There were three ambulances that came to the scene to provide aid to the injured parties. At least one person is said to have life-threatening injuries and maybe in critical condition after the crash. There is no word on any other victim’s injuries or current conditions.
One victim did require extraction from their vehicle by the emergency services personnel. The West Suburban Fire Department, the Rockford Police Department, and the Northwest Fire Department came to the scene.
The cause of the accident has not been reported. The RPD is still investigating the accident.
