Rockford, IL (March 23, 2020) – A crash took place in the afternoon in Rockford near the South Mulford Road and East State Street intersection. This incident was reported to have taken place in the westbound lanes.

When authorities with the Rockford Police Department arrived, they confirmed injuries were sustained. There were children inside one vehicle, but it is unknown if they were among the injured. The injures were reported to be non-life-threatening.

The cause of the crash was not released. RPD continues their investigation.
