Rockford, IL (April 27, 2020) – A bad accident was reported to have occurred on the east side of Rockford on Monday. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of East State Street and Roxbury Road. there were two vehicles involved in the crash but the types of vehicles have not been released.

The crash resulted in injuries. One of the injured victims was reported to potentially have required extraction from their vehicle. It is unknown if any of the injuries were life-threatening.

Authorities with the Rockford Police Department and the Rockford Fire and Rescue were on the scene to provide aid to the injured parties. The details around what caused the crash have not been released. The RPD continues to investigate.
