Rockford, IL (February 29, 2020) – According to reports there was a multi-vehicle accident on the west side of Rockford on Friday night around 7:45 p.m. The incident took place near the intersection of Ashland Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue.
There was at least one person that was confirmed to have been injured as a result of the crash. The victim was reported to be a woman who was bleeding heavily. The Rockford Police Department and EMS came to the scene and provided assistance to the female victim.
The RPD is investigating the cause of the accident.
