Rockford, IL (April 27, 2020) – According to sources, an automobile accident took place at 100 Morgan Street on Monday evening in Rockford. The incident took place on the east side of the Morgan Street Bridge. There were injuries confirmed as a result of the crash but the severity of the injuries has not been released.
The accident was called into the Rockford Police Department at 8:00 p.m. The authorities arrived at the scene to provide assess the damages and EMS also arrived to provide treatment to the injured parties. It is unclear if any of the injured parties required transportation to the hospital for treatment.
The RPD advised the public to avoid the area. The RPD continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
