Rockford, IL (April 24, 2020) – An automobile injury accident was reported to have taken place on Friday in Rockford. Authorities with the Rockford Police Department and the Rockford Fire and Rescue were called to the scene by dispatch.
The incident was located at South Alpine Road and Linden Road, according to reports. The accident occurred when a sliver truck t-boned a silver sedan in the intersection. The truck appeared to be going straight through the intersection as it had a green light.
The number of parties who were injured and the severity of their injuries were not reported.
Authorities are continuing an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
