Rockford, IL (February 23, 2020) – A traffic accident was reported on the east side of Rockford late Saturday night. According to sources, injuries were incurred. While the type of injuries was not released, it was confirmed that none of the victims’ injuries were life-threatening.

The incident took place at approximately 10:40 p.m. near the intersection of East Jefferson and East State Street. The Rockford Police Department blocked off the area while they investigated.

The cause of the crash was not released. As more information is known, the RPD will have it available to the public.
