Rockford, IL (April 14, 2020) – An accident occurred at the intersection of South 4th Street and 16th Avenue on Tuesday, April 14th. According to reports, two vehicles were involved in the accident, which ended with injuries.
A black truck, one of the vehicles involved, rolled over onto its roof as a result of the collision. Several first responders were on the scene. The Rockford Police Department, as well as the Rockford Fire and Rescue department were present at the scene to provide aid to the injured parties and clear the scene of subsequent debris.
One of the injured parties required transportation to the emergency room for further treatment. It has not been reported how severe the victim’s injuries were.
The cause of the accident has not been confirmed. RPD continues to investigate.
