Rockford, IL (November 30, 2019)Sources have confirmed that an accident took place Saturday evening around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of South Alpine Road and the northbound ramp moving towards the US 20 Bypass.

There were injuries as a result of the accident and one individual may have required extrication from their vehicle.

There were delays in the area as a result of the crash.

The Rockford Police Department is still investigating the cause of the crash.
