There were multiple vehicles involved in the crash. Reports of extensive damage to the vehicles were released and there were confirmed injuries. The amount of victims injured has not been reported, but it is clear that none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.
The North West Fire Department was on the scene along with officials from the Rockford Police Department. The RPD continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
