A crash has been reported involving a Lifeline Ambulance and a white passenger vehicle that collided at the intersection of East State Street and Lyford Road. Injuries were reported in the accident but at this time the extent of the injuries has not been made public. The front end of the white vehicle sustained major damage as a result of the crash.
The Rockford Police and the Rockford Fire Department were also on the scene.
The RPD is still investigating the details of the crash and what caused the incident to take place.
