Rockford, IL (April 29, 2020) – An accident was reported on Tuesday evening in Rockford. The incident was located near Sharon Avenue and Ridge Avenue near Freeport. Authorities with the Rockford Police Department (RPD) were called to the scene. The RPD reported that there were injuries as a result of the crash but they did not confirm how severe the injuries were.
The RPD indicated that one of the vehicles involved in the crash rolled over. The Rockford Fire and Rescue were also on the scene and able to provide aid to the injured parties.
It is unclear at this time what factors caused the accident. The RPD continues to investigate.
