The incident took place early on Thursday morning at approximately 6:45 am at 4979 Linden Road, #1226. Reports indicate that a female was trapped in the burning apartment fire and was not able to escape.
Many victims required rescue but information on sustained injuries has not been released. The authorities confirmed that there was one fatality. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
The cause of the fire is unknown, the investigation remains ongoing.
