Rockford, IL (March 12, 2020) – An accident was reported at North Main Street and West Riverside Boulevard on Thursday. According to witnesses, the incident was a two-vehicle crash that ended with injuries.

The car that caused the accident was speeding through the intersection against a red light when it struck the other vehicle. All three occupants of the at-fault vehicle fled on foot after the crash. The injuries reported were not life-threatening.

The Rockford Police Department was called to the scene to gather information. It was not confirmed if the RPD caught the owner or occupants of the car that caused the crash.
