Rockford, IL (February 7, 2020) – According to sources, an accident occurred at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and South Mulford Road on Friday morning. The incident took place during the morning commute around 7:50 a.m.

Injuries were confirmed, but the severity and types of injuries suffered have not been released.Authorities from the Rockford Police Department along with Emergency Medical Service personnel were on the scene helping the injured parties. The identities of all the parties involved were not released.

RPD is still investigating the cause of the accident. Witnesses reported delays while authorities were on the scene.
