Rockford, IL (February 21, 2020) – The Rockford Police Department was called to the scene of an accident that involved multiple vehicles on Friday afternoon around 1:50 p.m.

According to sources, there were multiple injuries but the severity of the injuries was not reported on. Paramedics were on the scene to provide aid to the injured parties. The incident took place at the intersection of Spring Creek Road and Whispering Pines Way.

The RPD continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
