Rockford, IL (November 5, 2019) – Authorities are confirming that a serious accident with multiple injuries occurred early in the morning on Monday. The incident required Rockton Firefighters, police, and paramedics to come to the scene. The crash took place around 5:00 a.m.

There was minimal visibility in the area as it was cloaked with heavy fog. The police reported that the incident took place at North Main Road and Gleasman Road.

There were three injured parties, who had non-life threatening injuries. All three victims were taken to local hospitals. Both the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police as well as the Illinois State Police were investigating the collision. This investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
