Rockford, IL (April 13, 2020) – An injury accident involving a bus occurred during the morning hours on Monday, sources say. The incident was reported to have taken place around 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of East State Street and Summit Street.

According to reports, at least one person was injured and required transportation to the hospital for treatment. Authorities with the Rockford Police Department were on the scene and advised the public to avoid the area.

RPD continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
