Rockford, IL (November 11, 2019) – Sources have confirmed that a major multi-vehicle accident took place around noon on Wednesday, November 11. The multi-vehicle crash involved seven automobiles and resulted in at least one confirmed injury.

The injured victim is believed to have suffered serious trauma and other life-threatening injuries.

The incident took place at North Mulford Road and Spring Brook Road.

The Rockford Police Department and Emergency crews were on the scene to assist the injured party. The accident caused much debris to be scattered about the road which led the authorities to block the area off and ask the public to avoid travel near the scene.

It is unclear how the accident started but the authorities are confirming that they are investigating and will provide more information to the public once it is made known.
