The man was hit on Pawlisch Drive in front of the Busch Jewelers store near CherryVale Mall. It is believed that the driver of the vehicle that hit the man stayed on the scene. The identity of the driver and the make of the car have not been released.
The police blocked off the southbound lane of Pawlisch Drive while they investigated the details of the accident. It is unclear what lead to the collision but authorities have indicated that they will provide more updates when they are available.
