Beloit, WI (March 6, 2020) – An accident on South Madison made the Beloit Police Department caution the public to avoid the area if possible.

The incident resulted in injuries but the type of injuries and the severity of the injuries have not been reported. The accident caused the southbound lanes at the intersection were blocked off from traffic for 30 minutes.

The incident took place at 3:19 p.m. The cause of the crash has not been released and is still under investigation.
