Beloit, WI (February 25, 2020) – A traffic accident was reported at Wisconsin Avenue and White Avenue and injuries were confirmed. The Beloit Police Department has told the public to avoid the area if possible. The eastbound lanes on White Avenue were shut down.

The authorities were called out to the scene at approximately 3:50 p.m. The severity of the injuries was not reported. It is unknown how many victims there were as a result of the crash.

The factors which lead to the accident have not been released. The BPD continues to investigate.
