Beloit, WI (January 17, 2020)Sources have confirmed an accident at the busy intersection of Park Avenue and Broad Street occurred on Friday morning in Beloit. Sources confirmed that the accident took place at approximately 9:17 a.m.

The Beloit Police Department and Beloit Fire and Rescue were on the scene. There were injuries reported, but the type and severity of the injuries were not confirmed. The types of vehicles that were involved in the crash have also not yet been reported on.

Due to the excessive amount of snow the area received today and the snow emergency that is in effect, weather conditions were not ruled out as a factor behind the crash. The details of what lead to the accident have not been released.

The authorities are still investigating the details of the crash.
