Rockford, IL (February 11, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the east side of Rockford on Tuesday afternoon. The incident took place at 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Charles Street and Hunter Avenue.

Emergency medical services came to the scene to provide aid to the injured parties. The Rockford Police Department worked to clear the scene.

The severity of the pedestrian’s injuries and the identity of the parties involved have not been released. The authorities have advised the public to avoid the area. The RPD is still investigating the details in the accident.
