Rockford, IL (February 16, 2020) – An accident that caused injuries took place around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the 3200 block of Auburn Street. The types of injuries that were sustained were not reported but the injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
Initially, the reports said one of the vehicles was on fire but when the Rockford Fire Department arrived at the accident scene, they confirmed no fire transpired. The Rockford Police Department had the accident blocked off while they investigated.
The factors leading up to the crash have not been reported. The Rockford Police Department is still investigating.
