Authorities from the Rockford Police Department were called to the scene of the accident, which took place just before 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of North Mulford Road and East Riverside Boulevard. At least one ambulance was on the scene to provide aid. It is not clear if any of the victim’s injuries required transportation to the hospital for treatment.
The details describing how the accident was caused have not been released. The RPD is still investigating.
